May 2025 – Osprey Capital Partners Inc. is pleased to announce that Synergetika, a solutions provider specializing in Privileged Access Management (PAM) has been acquired by SDG, a global provider of AI-driven identity, threat, and risk management solutions. SDG’s majority shareholder, Recognize Partners LP, is an investment platform exclusively focused on the digital services industry. Osprey Capital acted as the exclusive advisor to Synergetika.
The deal represents another successful transaction for Osprey Capital in the software & technology space.
The Client
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Toronto, Synergetika is the leading pure-play Privileged Access Management (PAM) consultancy and systems integrator with presence in Canada, USA, and India. The company delivers enterprise-scale PAM strategies and solutions from leading vendors including CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, HashiCorp, and Microsoft.
Privileged access abuse is a top cause of cyberattacks, especially insider threats and lateral movement within compromised systems. Organizations of all sizes understand that an effective PAM program is crucial to prevent breaches and protect critical infrastructure, particularly in industries like finance, healthcare, and energy, where the stakes are higher.
The Objective
The shareholders were seeking the right partner to accelerate the Company’s growth and provide liquidity for the shareholders. Osprey Capital was engaged to help negotiate the terms of the transaction and assist the company through the due diligence and closing process.
